GWEILO collection by Partisans Architecture

Partisans Architecture created this GWEILO collection by thermoforming etched optical quality acrylic sheets while they were still hot. A temperature of little around 400 degrees celsius is used to melt and pliableize the sheets. A variety of different folds and curves can be achieved after instantly taking them off the heat source.

A beautiful and dynamic sculpture is created by meticulously molding thin sheets of LED bulbs.

GWEILO lights, named after a Cantonese word that means "white ghost," are ethereal sculptures that pleat and bend like light rays.
